Detroit Dark Red
59 days. 2½-3” diameter, uniformly round, deep red root with fine grained flesh, very little zoning. Small crown, refined tap root. Tops to 19”. Resists Downy Mildew. Excellent for canning and pickling.
Early Wonder
55 days. 2½-3” diameter, smooth, semi-globe shaped root with dark red flesh and light zoning. Small crown, small tap root. Medium tall tops, medium green color tinged with red, making this variety excellent for beet greens.
