5-10 pls 2-5 1/4" Apr-May Good in clays and loams, Poor in sandy soils. Good drought and cold tolerance, fair salt tolerance.  Native, perennial that is low-growing and persistent.  Not adapted to sandy soils and high rainfall.  Very low maintenance.  Slow growth rate.
