3-4 pls ¼" Apr-May Good in loams and sandy soils, Fair in clays. Good cold tolerance, Fair salt tolerance, Poor drought tolerance.  Native, perennial bunchgrass.  3-8 ft tall.  Extremely palatable and highly preferred by livestock.  Good cover for wildlife.
