Bibb Butterhead
60 days from
transplanting. Head is a small rosette, with thick, smooth, dark green leaves
and yellowish-green heart. Has a very pleasant, distinct flavor. Some heat
tolerance, but best in cool weather.

Black-Seeded Simpson
45 days from
transplanting. Heavily frilled, crinkled, light green leaves with curled
margins. Very attractive. Withstands heat well. Good early variety for home and
market.

Iceberg
82 days from
transplanting. Medium size head of large, tightly folded, crinkled, light green
with touch of brown leaves. White interior. A garden-type butterhead lettuce,
also for market. Heat and tipburn tolerant.

Paris Island
66 days from
transplanting. Fine market type, uniform heads are
tall and erect. Outer leaves dark gray/green and upright, with interior pale
green to cream. Considered the standard Romaine lettuce. Very
crisp and tender.

Salad Bowl
50 days from
transplanting. Medium to large, rosette head with medium size, upright,
closely-set, notched, wavy, medium-green leaves. Head is large rosette of
leaves that are short and closely set, wavy and heavily notched. Slow
bolting and will stand 7-10 days longer than other leaf types. An
All-American Award Winner.
