California #5 Blackeye

55-60 days. Tall, bushy plant. Seed is large and white with black eye. Pod length 6-8”. The Blackeye #5 is popular all over the country. Good for packaging and canning.

Pinkeye Purplehull BVR

63-65 days. Low, bushy plant with purple pods above the foliage. Seed is medium size cream with maroon eye when dry. Pod length 6½”. Good for home gardening and commercial production.

Zipper Cream

66 days. Low bushy plant. Creamy white seed in large, medium green pod is classified as very large, especially for a cream variety. The peas are in a closely packed “crowder” condition in the pod. Easy shelling characteristic led to name “zipper cream.”

Cream 40

Early, prolific, semi-bush type. 6-8” long, medium, slightly curved pods. Seed is small, kidney-shaped, white with orange eye.

Texas Pinkeye

60 days. Tall, bushy plant. Slightly curved pods turn dark purple as they mature. Kidney-shaped seed turns from green with pink eye to cream with maroon eye as they dry.
