Big Max
120 days. 17”x7”, round, red-orange, very large, slightly rough-skinned fruit with bright yellow-orange, thick flesh. Averages 50-70 lbs. When limited to 1 fruit per vine, can exceed 100 lbs when properly grown. Suitable for pies.
Connecticut Field
100-110 days. 12”x14”, slightly flattened, dark orange, smooth-skinned fruit with thick, coarse, sweet, deep yellow-orange flesh. Averages 20-25 lbs. Fair for eating, best for Halloween carving.
Jack-O-Lantern
100 days. Fruit is round to slightly oblong, about the size of a man’s head. Bright orange rind with firm, thick flesh.
